Clean cozy cabin with good location and proximity to Algonquin. Host was very pleasant.

Friendly staff, located near Algonquin Park so great for trips there.

The cabin was smaller than we expected, and pretty simple.

our cabin did not have a lake view.which would have made it even nice. but those cabins were booked early. we can understand why. lovely quiet and calm location

Proximity to Algonquin, swimming beach and availability of boats at your lake, helpfulness of hosts, good shower, comfortable bed.

When we first came into the room, the smell of cleaning products was strong and unpleasant. However, it dissipated, and by the morning I wasn't aware of it. Also, an electric water kettle for tea or a coffee maker would have been nice. And one thing that was unfortunate, and all my fault for backing my rental car into one of the rocks on the property. I backed into the area next to the little bldg right between the store and our cottage, and could not see in the car rear view camera the sharp, pointy rock defining the vehicle area. So, I scratched the bumper visibly enough to result in a hefty expense. Live and learn - there were easier spaces nearby for me to have turned around in.

Very friendly and helpful at check in and with questions throughout our stay. Coffee and most food supplies available at the store. Free use of kayaks, canoes and SUPs which are located right by the lake.

Remember to pack insect spray. There are many insects in the area, also if going hiking in Algonquin National Park (Is also available in store if forgotten).

Tony, the owner is great, he went out of his way to help us when I hurt my ankle and also when we had a problem with the car. The beach is nice and the canoes are fantastic! The cottage is clean and cosy.
