Everything, location, rooms, decorations, views (and of course the amazing sauna and lake)

No cleaning done during our stay. I get not changing bed linen and towels everyday makes sense, but vacuuming/ doing beds should be part of the service.

The hotel is in an excellent location with amazing view and surroundings. We stayed in two rooms and both were nicely decorated, clean with great views. Comfortable bed and kitchen with all necessary supplies. Kind personnel.

Unfortunately the first day of our stay the heating was not working (outside temperature -26). We were told to turn on the sauna in the bathroom to hit up the room quickly as a last resort - many hours had already passed since we had checked in. So we did but the result was that during the night it was super hot and when the sauna turned off automatically it was cold (in the morning as well). This event took place while we were on holidays with our baby. The day after we were offered breakfast and change of room. However, I believe that especially with the local weather circumstances and the calibre of the hotel, this is not acceptable. The hotel should be prepared for such a case even if rarely happening even if on weekends. The hotel did not agree on a refund of that night. The second drawback is the food ( both breakfast and dinner) which could certainly be improved. Not at par with the hotel standards.

The area had a lot of activities nearby to do. There was a K Mart nearby which was useful to buy ingredients etc. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The suite was amazing with a lake view and perfect kitchen facilities. It was convenient to have a restaurant at the resort in case you did want to eat food rather than make some yourself. Free parking onsite was a bonus.

Location, spacious suite…

Needs to have more dining / food options.

It's a lovely quiet location on the lake. Very accessible by road. Close to the ski resort and the town of Phya. We loved it. The staff were so helpful and even booked us last minute trips and dinner reservations. The room was amazing with everything you need.

Leaving, because my family loved it so much.

We loved how the property was run by local Finnish people who loved what they do. It was a rustic feel and very down to earth place. They were very accommodating and we really appreciated their help. I would highly recommend for couples and families.

A few home comforts would have been amazing, maybe a robe or slippers for the room. Unfortunately, our bins hadn’t been emptied when we arrived so that would have been nice.

Very good and peaceful location. The resort quite new, got kitchen with all basic equipments. Comfy beds and blanket that perfect for the cold weather. If the weather good, you can view the aurora just from the balcony - like us! We stayed for 2 nights in late Nov and happy with the overall experience.

A bit difficult to adjust the room temperature, especially during cold weather.

Everything was so nice. The hotel is right in front of a lake and every room as lake view. In our case we had snow and the lake was frozen, but the area and the hotel offers plenty of activities for that weather. We were travelling with our little girl so we couldn't book a Aurora Borealis "hunt" but we were lucky enough to see the Aurora from our room at 10pm! It was so magical. I recommend this hotel and this trip to anyone that wants to disconnect and have amazing days in the nature.

The room felt a bit cold even thought we have the thermostat on the highest number.
