Sunset House Gili Meno

Nice location straight in front of beach. Personnel extremely nice and helpful. Best breakfast we had in 5 hotels in our trip to Bali

Pool wasn’t full. When we arrived they didn’t have a twin room for us and we’d travelled all day and arrived early. The receptionist laughed and said we’d have to share a bed, I said this was completely unacceptable and said they need to make us a bed up he said he couldn’t. We got on our phones trying to book somewhere else to no luck. I told him he needed to give us an extra room then and he said no. He called someone and within 30 mins a twin room was suddenly available. This was an incredibly stressful start to our stay here. The rest of the time was fine and no issues but just a very strange and stressful start to what should have been a nice stay.

The staff was very helpful, however they could not make for all technical incidents during the stay. Perfect location for sunsets.

It seems that there was is a serious problem with electricity, the hotel did not have it for the whole night. Apart from it AC broke twice, first time leading to flooding the room. Despite information about quietness of the hotel one night the guests were so loud all night it was difficult to sleep. Nobody reacted for this incident. It seems that Gili Trawangan and Gili Air have got better price to quality ratio. Comparing prices with other hotels on Gilis it was the most expensive in this regards (price / quality).

Right on the beach, lovely sunset, friendly staff, had a burger for lunch there which was really tasty!

TV package wasn’t great, door kept getting stock on the bathroom floor, my partner had an upset stomach the day after having a drink with ice from there but could be unrelated, we just avoided it just in case. Does need a bit of an update, even new duvets and towels would make a huge difference!

Amazing staff

Our stay was wonderful. The hotel crew was so helpful, they made our stay at Gili very comfortable. We really enjoyed the calm and quiet location with beautiful sunsets. The food and drinks in hotel restaurant were the best!

It was so comfortable and nice atmosphere place with wonderful view and not on last place unbelievable kind and helpful staff, they make our vacation unforgettable 🌷🍀🙏 So kind and smile, ready to help you with everything, you can feel the goodness in them. The house have unspectacular view to the ocean and through the evening have very pleasant lights, which additional make the night so cozy😊😊😊 We was really happy to be exactly on this place🥰 Unforgettable 🌅🌆🍀

Nothing, everything was perfect

The pool and the views from the room were both amazing. The fact that you can spot turtles from the sun loungers is just spectacular!

The shower was a little weak but very clean and big space.

The resort is the last hotel on that side of the island, making it a very peaceful and quiet location. Gili Meno in itself is also the more peaceful of all three Gili islands. The rooms are well-maintained and clean, the staff is very friendly, especially Sabadin with whom we had most interactions with. The view is beautiful from the room, after opening the curtains in morning, but remains wonderful all day. Breakfast was included and good. As the Island is not too big, you can walk all around on the beaches in approximatively 1hr, different activities (snorkeling, diving, ...) are maximum 20min away. As for the diving, I recommend Divine Divers with their excellent service!
