Oceano Beach Resort

I had a wonderful stay at Oceano Beach Resort, Arambol. The location is absolutely perfect—just a few steps from the beach with a calm and peaceful atmosphere. The property is neat, well-maintained, and surrounded by greenery, which makes it very relaxing. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable with all basic amenities. Wi-Fi worked well, and the balcony view added to the charm. The staff were extremely courteous, always ready to help, and made the experience even better with their friendly attitude.

Our experience at Oceano Beach Resort was extremely disappointing. We booked two rooms on the second floor, and both had a terrible, overpowering smell of mold. The bedding was clearly not fresh, and it was so bad that we couldn't even lie down on it – we had to sleep in our own sleeping bag liners just to avoid touching it. Do not be misled by the photos – they are completely inaccurate and do not reflect the reality of this place. Even for €30 per night, the stay would have been overpriced, but at €80, it is nothing short of a scam. We stayed for two nights, and honestly, we regretted every moment. Avoid this place at all costs!

So quiet and slept like a baby. The property is a little farther off the beach than others, but its literally 1 extra minute of walking and totally worth it. Room was beautiful, balcony was beautiful. View of beach was beautiful.

Had to pay in cash, which was very inconvenient. No laundry service available. Felt a little bit pricey, but to be fair we booked a little last minute and over winter holidays.

Location and proximity to beach, Room size, AC, Mattresses stiffness and blankets, Nice big Towels, Interior colors, Flexible checkin timings, The spa massage service offered within their property is fantastic and very good, restaurant looks great, Taxi is easy to get around, Walkways are much better than other hotels around, Swimming pool looks clean but quite small, Sit out areas are decent.

Very poor Sound proofing neighbors were banging the door and hitting things inside their room and we couldn’t sleep, Poor Water pressure in 2nd floor had to use bucket to bathe and water heater is too small if you want more hot water. Balcony looks nothing like what they advertised on pictures, No elevator for a resort of this price range is below average but the stairs are good with strong rails, Housekeeping dumps things in ground floor which is an eyesore when you walk towards stairs to g up towards rooms, Uncomfortable Plastic Chairs in a really small balcony, Reception Staff behavior can improve for locals and Indians (this is a typical experience in Goa, they will suck up to foreigners), Wifi coverage and speed is below average, No hair dryer but I expected that and carried my own, One small block of Soap and half filled miniature Shampoo bottles for 2 guests we have to go and ask for more if we stay more than 1 day, Electric plug points are all Indian round pins I had to manage with power bank for 3 days.

Relatively close to the beach. The breakfast coffee and cocktails were fresh and pretty delicious.

No card payment possible, only cash. Value for price extremely awful. We paid more than 330 € for 3 nights for the Super Deluxe Room with Sea view patio. If you dont close the curtains, people can look into your room while you are chilling on the bed. Also the room with seaview has barely any seaview, 90% of the view is a parking lot filled with trash. Blanket covering the bed contained cigarette burning holes. Cows eating trash right in front of the "Resort". Also throughout the stay, a lizard entered our room (no way to prevent it, went in through air ventilation). After begging the staff several times to take care of it, they told us that it went out of the room, but in reality it was still there. Eventually they killed it and it was dead on the bed. After a long discussion, they gave us another room. Then hot water was not working in this room. Had to go to another room to shower. Bed extremely hard, my girlfriend had neck pain for several weeks.
