Sea Star Resort

The property was lovely! We had the sea view room and we were directly on the beach - absolutely stunning. We loved having some constant space in shade to chill out in, whilst also being close enough to the sea to run in for a dip when we pleased. The room was very clean, the bathroom spacious and the extra touches like an umbrella for the beach was really appreciated!! All the staff were really friendly, helping us with our bags, booking cabs and friendly chat throughout our stay!!

We have no major complaints with the property and would stay here again!! Agonda in general has a lot of stray dogs and cows. As our ground level sea view room had a big tree shading part of the beach, directly infront of our room was often many dogs and even the odd cow. The dogs also came through to the accommodation regularly, where guests and staff welcomed them in and they often came onto our balcony space. I’m not a massive fan, and wish I had known this head of time as I would’ve probably booked a room further back into the accommodation to avoid this. However, this is personal preference and many guests loved their daily visits from the local dogs. The dogs did also became a problem at night, when both nights the dogs would bark in packs along the beach all night long which woke me up almost every hour of both nights of our stay. Again, it’s more of an Agonda issue than the accommodation, but maybe consider a room further back from the beach front if you’re equally not keen for the stray dogs and cows to be so close. There was also a combination of staff and/or guests who would take beach furniture from the accommodation onto the beach late each night. Being in one of the beach-front rooms, this was quite loud some days and out of our control, so maybe just to be aware that the ground level sea-front rooms are a bit noisier and at risk of more visits from dogs and cows than other rooms in the place. The bathroom water temperature was also hard to control. One day the hot was boiling, and the next it didn’t heat up at all and it was just luck whether you were able to have a hot shower or not - Agonda was so boiling it wasn’t a big deal to us to have cold showers, but knowing it was able to heat up and just didn’t everyday was confusing.

The beach view from room though we got partial view room but it was nice.

The food was not that good n room AC was not working properly.

They were so kind to let us sleep in the early morning before we officially booked. Manu thanks !

Agenda, petite station balnéaire encore préservée de la foule comme à Goa. Notre bungalow donnant directement sur la plage. Le personnel attentionné.

I had a beach hut : it was so nice to wake up and walk to the sea and have a swim . Room was very clean, shower nice and warm. All the staff was really friendly.

Pretty much everything. 1) no sunbeds in front on the beach so we had to go and spend the day elsewhere spending money on drinks/snacks/lunch). Their loss! 2) power on off all day. 3) WiFi did not work. Had to connect to a neighbouring property. 4) we came back to shower ready for dinner but we had no water at all. Not even to flush the toilets. 5) when we advised on these issues they just thought that was normal and did nothing. Worst place we have stayed in Goa over a month of moving around and probably the most expensive.
