Rodd Brudenell River Resort

Totally exceeded my expectations. Really nice pools. There's even clothesline available in the washroom to hang wet swimming suit. So thoughtful. Great facilities, great food at Club 19 and great staff.

There're many mosquitoes near the trail to the island close by, could be just bad timing. The golf go-karts were also all booked up for the next day when we checked in. Wish there were more slots to try for the experience.

I think a lot of the facilities could use a renovat

Heel mooi gelegen resort aan de rivier. Kamers hebben balkon dat uitkijkt op het water c.q. de golfbaan. Ruime en schone kamer, prima bed. Heel vriendelijk personeel. De chowder bij Club 19 was heerlijk.

Inrichting is wat oubollig en onze kamer was tamelijk donker een groot deel van de dag. Veel muggen zo langs het water (agressief ook). Kon er niet echt wandelen daardoor. Ook Club 19 kan wel een update gebruiken, niet echt sfeervol.

C’était ma deuxième visite à cet endroit et encore une fois je ne suis pas déçue! Le site est splendide et offre plusieurs choix d’activités, tout est inspirant la quiétude en nature. Nous avions loué un petit cottage et c’était parfait pour une famille. Les deux restaurants proposent des choix intéressants et le service en général dans la propriété est impeccable. On aurait eu envie de rester plusieurs jours!

Les moustiques, mais vous ne pouvez pas faire grand chose pour ça

Great Location. Room location was ground level looking at the pool which was great for the kids. View was awesome. The deck area was great for lounging. Lots of golf practice areas. Walkable grounds.

Looked like a beautiful grounds to walk but mosquitos were unbearable. No coffee or water in the lobby during the hottest weekend of summer. The staff was very nice but clearly management or perhaps corporate have set an uninviting tone. If we wanted to borrow cutlery or anything of that sort in our room it was like pulling teeth to get it. I asked for extra plastic bags for diapers and there was reluctance and I could only get 2 bags. Basically any normal request that doesn’t have a price tag was meet with reluctance. Seemed like staff wanted to accommodate, but have been scolded in the past. I expect resorts to be expensive, but I also expect the above to be included. There are lots of affordable, environmentally friendly options to spray and reduce mosquitos. I would Expect a resort that charges $500/night to do so.
