Casa Amihan is located away from the touristy area. It is a small cozy resort with 7 guest houses. We stayed in one of the newer Family Sea View homes. It had 2 king beds (perfect for giants like me), a large shower with both a waterfall shower head as well as a hand held shower head. The water pressure was ideal and the water temperature was adjustable from hot to cold with no problems at all. (I wish more hotels had such nice showers and bathrooms). The AC was working perfectly and kept the room at a chilly temperature all day and at night. The room we stayed in had a covered veranda with 2 lounge chairs and a small coffee table. There is also wooden clothes rack to dry your swimming gear. The loungers made for the perfect morning wake up routine listening to ocean waves while enjoying some coffee and looking at the small fishing boats arrive from their nightly fishing trips. The atmosphere of Casa Amihan is very private with each of the guest houses being far apart so as to not having to hear your neighbors. A concrete stepping stone path is laid out for easy travels from each guest house to the restaurant, the pool, and there are 2 ways to lead down to the private beach. The beach is very clean and maintained. This particular section of the beach is not rocky and is not covered in sea weeds. Swimming is perfect during high tides but it takes some effort during low tide to reach the "deep end". Swimming shoes are recommended since sea urchins are present on the numerous rocks and elevated sea beds. For those who prefer sun bathing, there are several tanning beds under a covered patio near the swimming pool, as well as a covered terrace overlooking the ocean. There is a house boat that can take you to view the sea turtles and other take you on other excursions near Anda. For those who like to walk on the beach, you have the option to go to Anda during low tide. It took me about 40 mins each way.

Quiet location at the end of the road. Propertie overlooks the beautiful clear water. I booked the suite which was absolutely perfect but its own private sitting area. The restaurant serves good food.
