Song Broek Bali

This is a hidden gem! Beautiful nature, big cozy rooms, great breakfast, big portions of food, we ate our dinners and sometimes lunches at the Song Broek! the stuff are so nice, the pool and a view is awesome! The place is more beautiful than in pictures. it is a little outside of everything but that is the great when you want some peace, we rented a scooter so we didnt have any problems and the great locations like tegalallang terrace for exemple are very near.

we had a big problem with the mouse in our room who visited us every night and we couldnt sleep because of it, it could somehow get in to our room through the roof, but we had some food in our cabin - we had bread that was unopened and closed in its plastic, and some chocolate bars that the mouse sensed. we talked to other guests and they had great sleep and no animals in the room, so that was just our bad luck!

This place is great and serious value for money. Rooms are fine, cleaned every morning. Breakfast is included and always very welcome. I had no problems with wifi. Honestly just for value for money alone makes this place great.

Its a little hard to get to, sometimes my Gojek (uber) might struggle to find it, but they always got there in the end. Otherwise nothing else that really was of issue.

Beautiful setting, in the jungle, very peaceful. Comfortable big room, hot water shower.

The bathroom was open and some animals/insects would come in, but no surprise since you’re in the jungle. Do not leave any food in the room.

I loved being in a local town without many tourists. Made me feel more immersed in the culture. The pool was nice and I loved the setting, being in the jungle was amazing. The pictures don’t do the property justice

Roosters woke me up at 6am and were crowing nonstop so I barely slept my last night (maybe 4 hours?). So that kinda sucked. The shower had about 2 minutes of hot water before it went cold. And while I loved being in a local village the downside was that it was basically impossible to get grab so had to fork out more money for taxi. The breakfast wasn’t so great either (instant coffee and hard fruit).

The best of the best... Such a unique and pleasant stay it was no words to describe friendly staff, room amidst jungle, stream sound, property environment, pool with jungle view..... What more needed a hidden gem in ubud must stay here atleast a day when coming to ubud and thank God we stayed for 5 nights there which made our ubud trip a fantastic one they also have rental bikes so no worries about travelling too everything is perfect

Nothing all were exceptional

This place is a hidden oasis but what makes it even better is the location. Payangan is fortunately not overcrowded Ubud, still have local spirit untouched by tourism and the people are incredible. It’s hard to put it in words but I was leaving Payangan with tears in my eyes <3
