Breakfast could be better

The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The resort was quite big and there were enough activities to choose from within the resort. The staffs were also very kind and helpful.

The available breakfast options were too limited. I wish there were more options to choose from.

Die Zimmer sind kleine Häuser mit einem Freiluftbad. Sehr große Zimmer, auf der Terasse ganz bequeme Lounge Möbel, die Betten sehr gemütlich, der Kleiderschrank von innen beleuchtet, die Dusche ein Traum. Die heißen Quellen (Becken mit dem Quellwasser) waren beinahe zu heiß. Deswegen war man dort auch meist alleine. Das Restaurant bietet gutes Essen an, auch für mich als Glutenintolerante Person war einiges gutes dabei. Zum Frühstück gab es sogar glutenfreies Brot, so etwas habe ich noch nie erlebt, und die Auswahl war riesig.

Wir wären sehr gerne dort Schnorcheln gegangen aber dazu mussten wir ein wenig weiter fahren.

The property is huge and impeccably maintained. Because it is low season, the prices were very discounted. We treated ourselves to one of the villas with a private hot spring. The room was not large, but comfortable. The bed was cozy with a choice of pillows. The enclosed patio was a real treat….private and relaxing. We used the Mimpi dive center and were impressed with their staff. Sri is an excellent dive master and guide. Diving at Menjangan was the best we have had on Bali. The restaurant staff was delightful. Artata. Merda and others welcomed us by name every day and looked after us. Their smiles and welcomes were always a treat.

The food at the restaurant was very inconsistent from day to day. You could order the same dish 3 days in a row and each time the portions, the platings and the preparation would be different. For instance, I ordered the fruit platter 2 days in a row. The first day, the serving was generous, with multiple slices of tropical fruits. The second day, I received one slice of pineapple, one slice of papaya, one small wedge of watermelon and a small bunch of grapes.
