Food and rooms are amazing, great for kids and families

Built into the lap of nature and close to major attractions in mukteshwar,this place run by a loving lady(Mrs Chawla) and her small little army makes you feel like home away from home.The rooms are built in Kumaoni style and share the perfect warmth this place boasts of.To top it all dinners are more than meals with Sudhir belting out numbers from the 90s and keeping everybody engaged over dinner.The dining space provides perfect acoustics for a dinner well spent. For me it smelt of warmth and memories forever.It had something for everybody.As usual I felt I could have stayed on for a little while more(greedy me!!) Hope this place survives the wrath of global warming and remains evergreen nestled in the lap of nature always welcoming tired minds and travellers looking for a place to rest and recoup. To Mrs Chawla, Ankit and Sudhir,hats off for being such wonderful hosts!!! To make it sustainable you may not have all the niggles of a 5 star hotel but you have all that you need.you may not have a 5 course meal but you will have more than enough to fill your cravings. Come here to value the experience as it is worth every penny you have spent.

Overall, the property was very well built. Rooms were very comfortable and the facilities were top notch. Breakfast was scrumptious and the staff hospitality was amazing.

The approaching roads for the property after the main road is in very bad condition. Also, some facilities like Game room including TT table needs repairing.

The property is situated at very calm and peaceful location away from all the noises. Serene and calm environment.

There is nothing to be liked about

We’re from London and we had an amazing time at Cedar castle along with our family. The property is very beautiful and the staff is very helpful. The food there is very homely as well. All in all a great experience. Will definitely recommend if you’re in the area.
