The peace and quiet of the location

We stayed in the Nether Lodge. The location was beautiful. The property has a forest trail, a viewpoint of the nearby river, a yoga spot, a beautiful pond and a dog exercise area. There’s also lots of wildlife - we saw had red squirrels running across the decking! There’s some nice places nearby. We recommend visiting the nearby farm shops, Glamis Castle, and the Reekie Linn waterfall - it’s a must-see. The location also makes it easy for day trips to the larger towns and cities. Staff were helpful and friendly, checking in and out was quick and easy. The lodge was very spacious and clean, we loved the electric fire and the tall ceiling. We found the bed to be comfy and the shower was great.

The furniture/decorations in the lodge were quite dated, however they were clean. The wifi also didn’t work for us, they state that it’s unreliable so we knew this ahead of time. We enjoyed being off our phones but it made planning activities hard. We would have loved some basics in the kitchen for cooking such as salt, pepper and some cleaning spray. We also noticed the coffee/sugar jars were empty but I’m sure this would have been refilled if we asked. We could not find opening times for the little shop, this would be handy on the info sheet. These were minor things and we would definitely stay at Nethercraig again, we miss it already!

The lodge we stayed in was immaculate, very spacious, rooms were big and wardrobe space in all 3 rooms, the park itself was spotless and each caravan was very spaced out, both Vicky and her dad were very friendly ay check in and check out, this is the 1st time we stayed here and definitely would stay again.

Everything was ok, we didn't have any complaints at all.

Beautiful grounds with so much space around the park to enjoy. Clean environment inside & out of static caravan. Good sized shower for a caravan.

Mattress on beds could do with toppers to improve comfort levels. Wi-Fi was sporadic found I used a lot of data although was in a remote area.

Lovely big Lodge, we booked to attend Bonfest. We were close enough to drive to it. The Lodge was very clean and spacious, warm and comfortable. Hosts were helpful and friendly. We would consider booking here again.

Nothing however there were no towels and I couldn't find any mention of whether they were included or not and nothing mentioned in reviews that I could see. The hosts kindly gave us some to use. It would be good to clarify when booking.

Views wildlife and area peace and quiet.

The bed was uncomfortable; I could feel every spring. It was also a very short bed. The outside seating area of the caravan had a wonky wooden picnic bench. The decking offered beautiful, stunning views, but sitting outside was impossible. The boiler broke down, so there was no hot water or heating.tv remote missing buttons The Wi-Fi was useless, and there was no phone signal, but they did state that when booking. I checked out a day early.

Lovely location with very clean caravan and site. It was a lovely surprise to have washing up sponges, soap, shower mat etc which I have never had in other caravan parks and we only needed to bring towels. The wooded area around the park was lovely for a spring walk in the afternoons.

Sadly, very limited WiFi, but that is down to the location of the park rather than the park itself. They have 8 different WiFi log ins, to try and get the best out of what is available to them.
