The Siena Village

The View from the room is awesome. The size of the room is good. It was good to know that they grow their own vegetables and spices, we really enjoyed the visit to their vegetable farm. The staff is really polite, courteous and helpful.

The cafeteria is really small so it felt congested. The distance from main Munnar town is little more so it increases the travel time a little bit. Otherwise everything was very fine.

Large rooms, great outdoor space for kids to explore and great mountain views. Value for money

The property is well maintained and the view it offers is great. Deluxe double room is very spacious and offered stunning view of the mountains. Cleanliness is very good, overall a very good property located in a good place.

Bed was too small for a family. I was offered a room with double bed, but it supposed to be a queen bed.

The food was delicious, the staff in the restaurant were friendly, the chef was excellent making suggestions, being flexible, and provided me with an excellent tasty breakfast. The meal we ordered for our room was hot and well packaged. Lots of food tho!

For the money we paid compared to 20 other places we stayed in during our 6 weeks in India, this one disappointed the most. We expected a lovely view but for me this would have been of the landscape which was stunning.. Instead it was just a view of the garden... Which was lovely but we really couldn't see the mountains etc. We splashed out and paid for what I thought was an outside jacuzzi bath but there was glass partitioning it from the outside area.. Not too much of a problem but the hot water ran out before it had even got close to the jets so I wasn't able to make use of something I chose and paid for. The room itself was clean but very dated. The fridge was very old and not clean but we didn't need to use it so it wasn't a problem. An issue arose concerning booking one of the tours on their list of tours. This was resolved but we both felt a member of their management team talked over us, didn't appear to listen and despite us never saying we weren't going to pay for the tour an assumption was made. All we did was to express our displeasure at waiting from 4.25am until 5am...we were both very stressed that we had no number to call, no response from messages, although it was very early, we thought we would miss the tour and only had this one opportunity. At no point did we say we wouldn't pay yet the way we were spoken to was not deserved. This was such a shame. What I really found difficult was our driver who took us on the tour was waiting for us to pay him and we knew nothing of this.. We'd have paid him straight away but we were told he could wait. He was a great driver and we didn't like that he was made to wait without us knowing... We ate breakfast, packed etc when we could have paid him straight away.
