5 Mile Beach Resort

The property was good, And it was very close to a secluded beach so it was peaceful.

The property may look good, but the overall experience was extremely poor. There was no electricity for most of our stay, and the manager kept turning off the generator with excuses like “it needs rest” or “we can’t run it for just one room.” They shut down the generator at around 10 PM, and when we tried calling the contact numbers provided, all the phones were switched off. The generator was then turned on again around 12 AM, but shut down again around 1 AM. After making 15–16 calls to four different people, they finally turned it on again around 3 AM, only to shut it off once more at 5 AM. It was turned on again for an hour around 8 AM. This cycle of us calling and them starting the generator continued throughout our stay. We were just three girls, alone in the entire resort, in the middle of a secluded area during heavy rain. No one else was staying, and the staff showed no concern for our safety or comfort. They took full payment at check-in, and the problems started immediately after. Even though we informed them of our delayed arrival, they never mentioned the electricity issue. The Wi-Fi didn’t work at all, which made things worse. We also paid extra for the breakfast-included option (₹600 per person) and were served just 2 idlis, 1 vada, and some overly sweet poha. When we asked for more idli or vada, we were told only poha was available. Overall: Poor service, terrible management, zero communication. Definitely not recommended.

Staff were very good and helpful. Location was very nice.. beach with the Location was cleaning and very nice for kids to play.. we enjoyed. We had book for 1 day but with the room, Location and service we extended our stay 1 more day..

Some playing equipment like bat and ball, volleyball should haven been available
