Beautiful resort with professional staff and well equipped comfortable homes.

The grounds are nice, cosy buildings. Quiet location.

The bed was very uncomfortable (you can feel the springs in your back), and you can hear the people in the room next door very well. I couldn't sleep until they went to bed and were quiet. I had a loft room, it is very big, but the image when I booked showed a bright white room, whereas my room was dark wood, so it felt more old and "closed in".

Very good food and excellent wine. Lovely setting.

Staff were quite formal but very good.

I stayed off-season and got an excellent rate for an attic room. We enjoyed the wine tasting and the food was fabulous.

The attic room was vast but only had one small skylight so there was not much natural light. Also, unless you have your own car, there is not much to do in the immediate vicinity of the hotel that is reachable on foot. The whole point of staying in this hotel is to enjoy the wine and Booking.com did not offer the ability to book the various tastings. We had to do this separately via the hotel’s website.
