Ander Divers Garden Resort

I had a very enjoyable stay at Anders. The restaurant has a good selection and the food is good quality. The best part of staying at Anders was the two ladies working there. Cherry and Rezel were absolutely fantastic hosts.

Likes • Staff were friendly and accommodating ♡. • Place is quiet and relaxing. • If you are staying in Anda, this is a good location since it’s near to Quinale beach, Bitoon, and Cabugnow. Needs improvement • The room was okay but could be better. It needs renovation. • The bathroom is too small. It was pretty hard to take a bath since it’s cramped. The shower water was spilling to our bedroom due to lack of space. Good thing there’s a rag.

Ps. This is not a bot. You may have read my other review. Our original plan was to book from March 19-21. However, we realized that it should be until March 22. I asked the staff if it’s possible to extend hence my second booking and review. Clean basic accommodation. Pleasant staff. Pool and Resto Bar.

A beautiful, very clean structure, complete with services, a stone's throw from the beach and the market

Close to the beach and any shops you might need, staff at the front friendly, lots of funny and cute cats to watch and play with, quiet area. Wifi worked well even in the room despite some reviews I read so I assume they have improved that part. It has air con but it's very loud

The 'bathroom' is tiny. I can't imagine a tall guy having a shower there, I could make it work as I'm pretty small but get ready to pretty much sit on the toilet seat to shower as the space is so limited. The shower head fell off as soon as I turned the water on and couldn't put it back on, it was like it's made of the softest plastic you can find on earth. Toilet doesn't flush so I recommend doing number two at the toilet behind the bar. Place is filled with ants so get ready for them to march all over you, on the bed, on all your luggage, first day will be managable but I don't think staying more than 2 nights is a good idea. I also had to wash down a bunch of baby cockroaches in the bathroom which indicates there is a nice big cockroach family somewhere close by. I had no food inside, everything was outside on the terrace in the bin so that is definitely not the reason for so many creatures crawling around. Breakfast was too expensive for the location and very average and blant flavour, the bread bun had a mouldy aftertaste so I doubt it was fresh enough to be served. For the big space they have outside I would also prefer to see some outside nice seating areas, maybe a few hammocks and definitely there is plenty of space to increase the size of the huts at least make the bathroom a bit more pleasant size. Overall, just a place to stay for a night or two if around the area but don't expect too much.
