Ideale Lage zum SWCP. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück und Abendessenssen war gut.

Alles ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, besonders der Wellnessbereich. Im Zimmer hatte der Teppich grosse Flecken und unangenehmer Geruch.

Vriendelijk ontvangst met een tikketje ondeugende receptioniste. Vond de aandacht van 2 motorrijders wel leuk., weer eens wat anders dan golfers. Mooie kamers, meeste leek wel vrij nieuw. Zeer goede bedden en super schoon. Zwembad en sportzaal aanwezig en daar konden we gebruik van maken. Ook als het zwemmen wat langer zou duren dan de openingstijden zou dat geen probleem zijn. Lekker ontbeten, niet uitsluitend Engels , waren ook Europese dingen. Mooie locatie, veel te doen en zien in de omgeving. Niet de goedkoopste, wel een aanrader.

Het weer. Maar daar kan het hotel niets aan doen.

Location and the swimming pool

Dirty lots of cobwebs on the ceiling. Room felt cold. We arrived from the Scilly Isles and got to the hotel at 750pm. The guy on check in said they had stopped doing food at 8pm. We ordered a few drinks and some nuts. I noticed 4 golfers came in after us fair enough they had probably booked a table. Then they proceeded to order food after we had been refused a meal. Surely if the burners were on we could have been offered something to eat.

Room a little tired and appeared to be slightly damp

The location was great, the staff were lovely, food was good but could have more choice at breakfast there was no pastries and limited choice of yoghurt on 2nd day

The rooms could have been cleaner there were cobwebs in a lot of areas and we couldn’t get the velux window open

The view, the remoteness, friendly helpful staff., homemade cereal was delicious but only available some days (2/5) but we requested it on our final morning and they brought us some. The fish and chips was delicious but pricy.

Next to no ventilation for the bathroom, very poor quality toilet paper, our front door swelled in the damp so that we struggled alot to open it from inside. A workman came to shave wood off the doorstep but it was patently a recurring problem. Only one bedside lamp and one chair for a cramped twin room. Twin beds were extremely narrow. Meals overpriced. Fried eggs looked very greasy and scrambled eggs were dried out by 9.30.
