The location was simply gorgeous. Surrounded by tea gardens and far from the hustle bustle of the main city . It was the perfect place to relax and unwind .

The last half kilometre or so to the property, the road was non existent. It was a muddy stretch which felt like off-roading.

Few food items were not good

During my 4-day family trip to Ooty, I was seeking accommodations that were slightly away from the town center and allowed us all to stay together. Western Valley turned out to be the ideal choice. Nestled in stunning natural surroundings away from the city's hustle and bustle, it offered a tranquil retreat. The rooms were impeccably clean and beautifully decorated. While the food options were limited, the dishes were delicious, and the breakfast spread was excellent. The property provided relaxing activities such as indoor games, badminton, and cycling. The evening bonfire added a delightful charm to the overall experience. I must commend the staff, who were remarkably professional and helpful. On the day of our arrival, our cab broke down about 30 minutes from the resort, leaving us stranded in the dark on a forest road. When I called the reception, a staff member—whose name I believe might have been Devaraju—immediately offered to assist. He arrived within 30 minutes, ensured we reached the hotel safely, expedited the check-in process, and made sure we could rest after an exhausting ordeal. His dedication and kindness were unparalleled, unlike anything I've experienced at any other hotel. I would wholeheartedly recommend this property to everyone and look forward to revisiting in the future.
