Stone Wood Resort, Mandrem

Vi var blevet bedt om at betale forud for opholdet. Da vi kommer kan de ikke se det på deres konto og beder om pengene igen på trods af at vi kan fremvise at pengene er trukket og sendt til den konto som Stone Wood har oplyst os. Virkelig dårlig stil.

Dårlig service

Det var ikke særligt rent, dårlig morgenmad og vi kom til at betale dobbelt pris fordi de ikke havde styr på betalingerne. Vi er meget utilfredse med servicen!

A hidden gem. The location is deceptively on quite a busy road but once you walk inside and past reception, you enter an absolute paradise. The tropical gardens are truly outstanding and as I flew in from the desert, the lushness was very soothing to behold. Nice pool surrounded by bougainvillea and frangipani, great room which was clean and cool. I took the big cottage at the back of the place and then moved up to a wooden bungalow which was smaller but somehow cuter as I also then had a sea view. Take the cottages or bungalows towards the back if u want more tranquility as u can hear the road at the front. Extremely clean and friendly staff.....Thumbs up all round :)

I loved the Indian breakfast but not all westerners do so would be good to have a few more items in the buffet such as bigger selection of fruits, more salad ( the was only cucumber) and brown bread. Proper filter coffee not Nescafe.

The resort is clean with ever smiling and accommodating staff

The food is not at par. The breakfast had very limited options and the ones available weren’t great too

The nicest stuff ever. Warm and helpfull. Nice View from the balcony. Good breakfast.

No Moskito Nets. Means No fresh Air in the room. Necessity to use AC. Catched a cold because of this Way to beach 15 Minutes Walk. Bad smell coming from bathroom. You hear everything from your neighbors downstairs.

Staff were very friendly and did their best to make us feel comfortable. Lovely setting. Quiet.

Musty rooms as perhaps not used for a while and breakfast was average
