The staff is really amazing. They are genuinely friendly and helpful. My room was upgraded to sea view after we saw a snake at my villa.

It’s a bit far from the beach. You can’t walk and you need a shuttle. I tried to book kayaking at the hotel and thier partner wanted to charge me $110 whereas I got another offer for $50 including transport. Their prices are exorbitant. I believe as a hotel they should find competitive prices for their guests.

Overall ok. maybe they invest a bit more in the infrastructure, the place needs a bit of love and care in some areas. And try to financially motivate more the staff, they work hard, we see this.

This hotel is clearly overpriced for what it offers. The biggest issue is the location—it is about 1.5 hours from Zanzibar city center, and this is not clearly stated anywhere. You end up isolated with very limited options. There is absolutely nothing around the hotel—no proper shops, no places to visit, and no usable beach at the property. You are basically stuck there with nothing to do. The food menu is extremely limited and repetitive, which makes the situation worse given the remote location. I also booked a dinner-inclusive option, but at check-out I was still charged extra for drinks, which was not clearly explained in advance. On top of that, they charge an additional $5 per person as a “government infrastructure fee,” which was not transparently communicated before arrival. This feels misleading, as it comes on top of what was already paid on Booking.com. Overall, this is not a 5-star experience by any standard—closer to 3-star at best. For the price, there are definitely much better options in Zanzibar, and I would not stay here again.

The location is amazing. The deck is absolutely stunning and the rooms are incredibly spacious and very comfortable.

Breakfast - food was a bit dry, I would think from overheating. Improve on restaurant seating setup. Long tables inside the restaurant are not ideal for couples.

Great property. Great views. Very good staff.
