very picturesque and scenic especially watching the sunset from the pool. the staff were also very nice and accomodating to our request just wished the beds were not so hard and more comfortable, otherwise a close to exceptional experience.

I didn’t find a lot to do in the area but this had nothing to do with the property itself

Owners and staff were all lovely, very personable and accommodating. They were able to help us arrange transport whenever we needed etc. The hotel itself is built in an old quarry, which I think is a very ingenious use of space and makes it architecturally very interesting. The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was really lovely and modern. The food from the lunch/dinner menu was delicious and very well priced. The breakfast was very generous. The matcha cafe is an interesting and fun addition.

Not a reflection on the hotel itself, but just a general note - it is quite far away from any transport hub and there is no easy access the taxis; I would advise people staying there to drive there/hire a car. I was a little disappointed in the room. The ones advertised online are more aesthetically interesting, either through texture of the rock face in the walls or colour and art on the walls. Our room was white with wooden furnishings - it was fine but I was underwhelmed for the price. I would suggest that the plainer rooms would benefit from some more points of interest, eg with colour or texture on the walls, and more eye-catching art. Our bathroom wall was made out of the rock face but you don’t spend much time in that area. The breakfast was very generous, but it was very meat heavy and a bit too much for me. In addition to what is currently on offer, it would be nice to have some healthier items such as fresh fruit, and maybe a continental breakfast option.

Very nice artistic place with very good service and clean rooms with nice views and matcha cafe inside the resort was amazing.
