The View – Santo António Villas, Golf & Spa

The pool area was lovely. Location was decently close to Centro and the beach and the view was stunning.

Super far from “front desk.” Pictures of what we booked were VERY different from the unit we were given. Our unit was incredibly dated compared with the unit shown in the photos, and quite smelly when we arrived. We were given two dishwasher tabs to wash the unit’s dishes for a 5 night stay, but no dish soap. I’m not sure how they expect guests to not leave dirty dishes when they don’t provide dish soap. When we asked, we were told to buy some ourselves. Seems odd that they would rather pay their cleaning staff to wash dishes than simply provide a €3 bottle of soap that would last a month or more.

The sunshade was left broken and in my opinion was dangerous. When I raised this with the management company, they took it down and dumped it on the rooftop terrace. They said that they couldn't replace it. The sun was intense during my stay and made the balcony unusable in the morning. Nothing is provided to clean dirty dishes. No washing up liquid, no dish cloth. Just 1 dishwasher tablet for a 5 night stay. They are penny pinching which is pretty outrageous considering the cost.

Staying there at the off-season time was a blessing! Overall, we had a great time staying at the property for three nights. It would have been even better with warmer weather to fully enjoy the outdoor amenities.

We wanted to share some feedback regarding directions to the property. It would be helpful if staff provided clearer instructions based on the mode of travel. For those arriving by Uber or taxi, pedestrian access may be sufficient. However, for guests arriving by car (as we did), directions should specifically guide them to the appropriate parking area. This is especially important, as we lost nearly an hour navigating poorly lit, winding roads in the dark due to unclear instructions. A simple Google Maps or Waze link to the correct parking location would make a big difference and help avoid similar confusion in the future. Thank you for considering this suggestion.

Jacuzzi bath not working. Furnishings were a little dated.

We stayed in April so the area is still quiet, we had a lovely townhouse with wonderful sea views! The house felt really spacious for 3 of us, each bedroom had an ensuite and the upstairs living and kitchen was big. By the bedrooms, there is a garden and there was a roof terrace. The common swimming pool is very nice, a bit too cold for us during our stay but when the temperatures are higher would be lovely. Halfway through our stay they came to check for towels, toilet paper, rubbish, etc which was nice.

There isnt anything I didnt like, a bonus would have been a heated pool for our stay but not expected

Very good location. Beach 10 min walk. Very beautiful village with wonderful cafes. Beach ir perfect, not lot people. Great surroundings for walks along the coast and cliffs
