A double or queen bed instead of all twins

Beautiful view, spacious and comfortable

Kitchen was not well supplied, no dish soap, towels, not even salt or pepper. Not allowed to bring bath towels to the pool (understandable) but no towels supplied. Very poor directions to the unit, map supplied was of no help and staff told us to put it in our GPS. Really hard to find amongst all the units. 11A did not have nearby parking. We had to bring everything up 2 flights of stairs.

Upstairs bathroom has smelled

The view was great.

The stairs were ridiculous!! If you can’t do stairs don’t book here, they’re everywhere and hard to bring in the luggage!! Thank goodness my husband is strong!! Also if you don’t have a car it’s down down down the hill to get to Salema at the bottom. Then climbing up the hill! The property was spacious but, everything was quite dated! For over 200.00 Canadian a night in Portugal, you’d expect something a bit more upto date as far as furnishings go!

This is a high quality spacious villa, very nicely furnished and tastefully decorated..The seating indoors is comfortable and we enjoyed spending time in the living area when the weather was not so good We enjoyed having the sunny balcony , the ground floor terrace and the roof terrace . The balcony has table, chairs and a parasol. The terraces both have loungers. The shared pool is good. It is a fairly steep uphill walk back from the restaurants in the village but ok if you are reasonably fit.This villa should have been a perfect ten but for a few small niggles .

Just a few things stopped it from being perfect It is perhaps important for prospective guests to understand that Santa Antonio run a number of villas and the one allocated may not have the view shown in the photograph. Ours didn't and although it was a sea view it was a little disappointing compared to the photo. There was a bedside light missing from the double bedroom There was no cloth to wipe the kitchen worktops although there was a jumble of used cloths in a cupboard which had been used for who knows what.

Location and views were fabulous

The bed was very uncomfortable
