What a beautiful himalayan chalet nestled in the Tirthan valley! Thankyou Sudhir, you are one chilled out host. It felt more like visiting an old friend as you made us feel so comfortable from the moment we entered. Our stay was short but memories would be cherished for a long time. This is now our go to destination next time we are in Tirthan. Thankyou to every staff member for being so supportive, the food was lovely and felt like home. Please keep the place the way it is. A note for visitors: please avoid this place if you do not like tranquil solitide, quiet peaceful slow living and simple and humble lifestyle.

There was nothing we didn't like

The location of the property is really beautiful, high in the mountains with a great view of snow peaked mountains and valley. The staff and the owners were great hosts. I really liked the warm hospitality and food. It was more like staying at the owners home as their guest. The rooms and property is done really well with great aesthetics and a lot of attention to detail. I also enjoyed the trek to the meadows nearby and the serene view of the mountains from there. The villagers around are very friendly and helpful too!

What a fantastic location and a outstanding host. With warm and freindly staff the homestay felt like we were at a old friends home.

We should have spent more time at the homestay. 2 days was just no long enough to soak it all in.

View from room was nice. Food was good, specially the mutton curries. Lovely staff. Hosts were good and attentive. Property has its charm with nice decor everywhere. Friendly dogs. Play room for kids is excellent. Other guests were friendly, respectful and social.

Cumbersome rulebook with added costs for everything, which made us uncomfortable to ask for anything extra. Food was hit and miss. Could do with having rules to have dogs out of the house or bath the dogs regularly, we had various insects bites every night. Generally, property needs maintenance to deal with leaks, water sweeping out of bathrooms, carpet washing, etc. You have to have a car to go anywhere, and roads are no good. Generally the layout is such that you get little sunshine and cloths remain damp for long. Need to climb 4 levels of stairs to reach the property from the street. Can get over crowded with no privacy at times. Some nights we had loud guests playing music mid night.
