The Stories Resort is a fantastic hotel if you like it nice and no stress go there the breakfast is very good 😋 and you can eat good dinner to a low price and you can rent scooter to a low price 😊 the only minus was that there are no facilities available around the pool so you have to sit on the ground i am planning to go back to Ban Phe next year 🙂

Breakfast was buffet style and exceptional value. The resort is located in quiet part of town just 500 metres from the coast and with easy access to Ban Phe and the ferry to Koh Samet.

Nor to be picky but I use a laptop. There is nothing in the room that I can use for that. I also found the stairs to the upper level awkward to use but that age related.

The room was very comfortable including the bed. The staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very diverse. The pool looked clean but I never went in. It really is a nice place.

What I didn't like has nothing to do with the hotel but rather the street it is on. During the day it's fine but come early evening and evening it's almost impossible to walk down it as there are a pack of dogs that are aggressive. I counted 10 at one point and it's impossible to keep eyes on all of them. The hotel will shuttle you down to the end of the lane though.
