Amazing location - walking distance from Lamb's rock, with access to a tea garden below. Both the tea garden and mettupalyam town are visible from the room's large windows.

There is no room cleaning available - we were told rooms will only be cleaned after we leave. We had to ask for a broom to clean the room ourselves. The bedsheet had an old blood stain on it when we arrived and checked in. The mattress and the pillows especially were of poor quality - not very comfortable. The bathroom had no exhaust fan - and in the monsoon season during which we visited - the bathroom did not dry out - which left a lingering smell within. The majority of the staff seems to have limited to no hospitality training, there was no punctuality with regards to meals either. The staff would say breakfast starts at 0830AM, but would only be available after 9PM. The staff would keep saying it will be ready in 10mins, but 10mins would come and pass, and the answer would be the same - 10 more mins. We traveled with a pet, and were told on the phone by Mr. Noushad that staying with a pet would cost us Rs. 750 per day extra - which was agreeable to us. But this was increased to Rs. 1000 at the time of checkout - with no intimation of explanation provided. For the additional amount paid - no additional services or products for the pet were provided.
