water heater not functioning. Unit C8

The Room was spotless. the bed was comfortable

1st of all this was one of those bookings where it says a price and below something to the effect all expenses included...Then after you book it and arrive you find out there are about 35% extra charges. This is Booking.coms Bad. When I arrived cold, wet and tired from long motorbike ride in the Monsoon weather to find these hidden charges. I was surprised by the price but just wanted a hot shower so since I didn't have cash to cover the new found cost I pulled out my credit card. lisa the very grim unhelpful, and extremely unfriendly woman behind the counter said no credit. I was scrutinising the book8ng and saw where it clearly said credit cards accepted. She aggressively saying no credit.I finally took out my phone and opened up Google Translate to try to get some understanding. I asked where there was a ATM. No she didn't understand. She never tried to use a translate app. Just said NO, NO NO. Very unhelpful. Finally they got someone on the phone.with English. she asked me if I wanted to pay with credit card. I said y es. She told Lisa something and all of a sudden the credit card machine came out and I paid. I maintained a friendly demeanour throughout this ordeal because I know about Asian culture and politeness. I wonder what happened to Lisa's cultural attitude. This Lisa wore a butch hair cut and was very masculine. Comp,etely rude and she made me very uncomfortable with her nasty attitude. If I wasn't a tired, wet,71 year old weary traveller I would surely went elsewhere
