My room was very clean and had a view of the conservancy, I could even spot some elephants from my balcony. Being a solo traveler I love socializing and learning new things about my destination. Jane at the reception was very friendly and accommodating and she shared a lot of information about the property and the area. Michael at the restaurant has a very warm attitude and excellent service. I really loved the chicken curry and the naan. I'm definitely coming back!

The location was close to Ol pajeta conservancy, where I wanted to visit. The lady at the bar/restaurant was friendly and courteous,the housekeeper too was friendly.

The check-in was disappointing,Jane did want to check me in because the rate I got from.booking.com was cheaper compared to their daily rate. She almost sent me back even after insisting I was a genius member, and that's why I was getting a more discounted rate. When I was about to cancel my booking, she said I should check in while she reconfirmed the rates with her manager. I hesitated to check in just in case they planned to charge me more than the rate I had booked with. Having been a hotelier for close to 10 years, I felt they lack customer service, empathy, and listening skills. The menu needs improvement,wifi was not working, the same was communicated, and different passwords were provided, but still non was stable. If you just need accommodation, it's an okay place.

Friendly staff but just felt as though you don't get what you expect for your money - lights didn't work, bathroom flooded, dinner took 90 minutes to arrive (after pre-ordering), pool full of bugs. Just a shame when the staff were so friendly and you could hear lions so close at night.
