Far from main road

It is very quiet here. Located down a side street approximately 15 mins walk to Alona beach, means that you are far enough away from all the noise and action but close enough to be in it after a few minutes walk. The cottage has everything you need for your stay, was clean, with great hot running water, good wifi and ac, comfy bed (personal preference I know), a fridge, hair dryer and safety box. There’s a bar/restaurant on site if you don’t feel like walking to the main area. They’ll even rent you a motorcycle. Tuk-Tuk cost me 200 PHP from the airport. On the walk to the beach area, I highly recommend trying the Italian Toto E Peppino, and Mocobay on the opposite side of the road for fabulous ice cream !

Constructive criticism : they do not offer any tour booking options, you have to book tours and island hopping from other places or touts on the beach. They also only accept cash from foreigners for any extras, no card payments (Filipinos can use g-cash). Please look into doing both.

Je sais qu’ils n’y sont pour rien mais juste à côté il y avait des chiens qui hurlaient à la mort et aboyaient toute la nuit. C’était insupportable pour ma part !

I like that the place is clean

Miscommunication from their own internal team which ended up blaming us for their fault. I have requested the beds to separated ahead of time and they were asking me additional fees when they can just literally separate the beds (they just combined 2 beds to make it a queen size). They said sorry but in a "it's your fault and it's my manager's fault for not understanding" kind of way. I even made it simple for them and I asked if we can just leave and get refunded since we haven't stayed yet which they refuse any refunds. Total mess!

The breakfast was good. Laundry service on premises.
