Beautiful pool villas, designed for privacy and with a lush garden. Some features were a bit tired (e.g. floorboards/ceiling could use fixing), but the cleanliness (sparkling windows!) made up for this. As there are mainly pool villas we didn't see many of the other guests, and it felt a bit quiet at times - but this was a good thing too. Staff were polite and promptly responded to our requests with a smile. Turndown service was a nice touch.

Due to its remote location there aren't many food options. The on-site restaurant was good but quite expensive, and empty most of the time. Breakfast was good and the a la carte meant less food waste.

The staff were amazing and went out of their way to help. Property was beautiful too

Everything was lovely. The food and the breakfast were amazing! The stuff is helpful and attentive. The beach on the hotel side was clean and nice. We loved that the stuff came in the second half of the day to close all the curtains, turn on night light and prepare the end for the night. We felt very taken care of. We will be back!

Our shower was kinda a little broken, it was spraying in all different directions . But it did not bother us much.

Un superbe hôtel en bord de mer dans un village très calme. Le lieu en lui même est assez paradisiaque la vue sur la mer depuis la piscine de l'hôtel au coucher du soleil, c'est top. Les chambres sont belles et grandes avec leur piscine privative. C'est vraiment très agréable. Le personnel est très souriant et toujours très agréable. Les petits déjeuners et dîners au restaurant sont copieux et de bonne qualité. Nous avons utilisé les navettes gratuites pour aller au temple de tanah lot ainsi qu'à Canggu et c'est un vrai plus, et tous les chauffeurs locaux sont adorables. Bref je recommande.

Il est à noter que malheureusement la baignade n'est pas autorisée sur la plage, en effet les courants sont trop forts...par contre il y a beaucoup de surfers. Si l'hôtel en lui même est très propre, ce n'est pas forcément le cas des abords de l'hôtel voir de la plage .

Staff fantastic - genuine 5 star service. Villa really clean and luxurious. Food great, mix of western and Asian. Our 2 daughters never struggled for choice and staff always accommodating. Spa is great.

Would be even better if the restaurant had fans/AC (however I appreciate the traditional feel!)

Dieses Hotel ist der perfekte Ort um Ruhe zu finden. Der Service ist auf aller höchsten Niveau und das Essen ist nicht nur excellent, sondern preislich sehr fair. Ich habe dort die beste Massage seit langen genossen. Einfach alles perfekt!

The WakaGangga Hotel is a truly beautiful escape. If you’re looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of cities like Canggu, this is the perfect spot. Nestled along the coastline and surrounded by lush greenery, it offers peace and serenity in every direction. While the beach isn’t suitable for swimming (it’s unpatrolled and can be unsafe), the sunsets are absolutely breathtaking. The staff are warm, attentive, and always ready to help — whether it’s organising a buggy, providing local recommendations, or even receiving a Gojek delivery on your behalf. The private villas are spacious and comfortable, some featuring it's own private pool, soft beds, and large, airy bathrooms that make relaxing effortless. The restaurant serves an extensive range of delicious food and drinks, and room service is available if you prefer to dine in. The on-site spa is another highlight, offering a wonderful selection of relaxation treatments. As a solo traveller, I always felt completely safe and well cared for at WakaGangga. It’s a peaceful hideaway that I’d happily return to again.

My only suggestion would be to apply a heat-reflective coating around the pool area, as the stones become very hot under the sun and uncomfortable to walk on or sit on the edge.

Location, if suited, is a plus point - i.e. right on the beach and away from the busy areas of Bali. Facilities, without being over the top, were very much adequate! Prices were reasonable, especially the spa.

Lack of communication was their single biggest let down. My simple question remained unanswered for over 5 months and delayed my check in process for. About an hour. I requested the management to look into an issue and it was not addressed until check out. Service at the restaurant can be a little slow occasionally!
