Medana Resort Lombok

We had a very pleasant stay of three nights. It felt a bit dystopian sometimes since we were the only guests at that time, nonetheless we never had the luxury of a private resort before. The bungalow was spacious, comfortable and traditionally furnished. The outside shower and bath were great. The facilities such as the swimming pool were very nice. The area was green, peaceful and quiet, everything was well maintained. We ate twice at the resort and really enjoyed the food. We rented a scooter at the resort to move around, visit beaches and the waterfalls. The staff was hospitable, warm, friendly and helpful. We would definitely come back. Oh, and we loved Sasa (the dog).

If I had to find one thing, the bed didn't have a headboard, but I still slept like a log each night I was there! So it can't have bothered me too much!

Beautiful private and quiet. 6 villas on a private family estate.

The room was big and romantic 😍. The breakfast was simple but excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful stay. Strongly recommended for couples, even old ones like us.

The ac wasn't working (Rm 6). Need to be repaired urgently, especially when the weather is hot.

Boutique garden resort. Garden was well taken care off. But was quite far out from the beach or town.

Water pressure for shower was very low. We had the family room, the extra bed was in the lounge with no air conditioning and only a small standing fan provided. air cond was only in the room.

Accommodation was high standard, well maintained gardens, very nice swimming pool, restaurant overlooking the swimming pool. Good location for waterfalls at northern Lombok. Fairly expensive alcohol.

Limited selection for breakfast and beverage. Small selection of alcohol at the bar. Bugs and leaves on pool not scooped out daily. Local beach is terrible.

Quiet location, very beautiful gardens, artwork/furnishing in the rooms. Very friendly and attentive staff.
