Absolute privacy and tranquility, disturbed only by the sight of planes landing over the bay. The villa offers generous space, complete privacy, and an enclosed tropical garden with an authentic Balinese spirit. You truly feel as if you are in your own world – far away from everything. The incredibly comfortable outdoor pavilion with a large sofa became our favorite spot. Lying there, listening to the sounds of the tropical garden and simply being. The private pool is smaller and refreshing. For my taste, slightly on the cooler side, but actually pleasant in the Balinese heat. For less agile guests, a handrail and proper steps would be helpful. The outdoor “jungle” shower is a real experience – a phenomenal atmosphere. However, the water drainage could work better, and the moss on the wall is not ideal in a shower setting. I truly appreciated the convenience of communicating with the hotel via chat – responses were practically immediate. These details make the difference. The same goes for small touches such as mosquito coils, a mosquito net above the bed, or incense sticks by the bathtub. Little things that create a sense of care and thoughtful design. The food service and housekeeping were genuinely exceptional. We dined mostly in the villa – the selection was sufficient, and both the food quality and service were excellent. The restaurants offer very good cuisine, and the hotel features several pools for guests. However, I did not find a whirlpool – if there is one, it is not obvious. It is fair to say that Balinese nature is relentless. The buildings, furniture, and public areas show signs of time. This is not about cleanliness – that is impeccable. Rather, compared to newer luxury resorts in Bali, the hotel no longer feels like “the freshest flower in the vase.” Swimming in the sea is practically impossible. The beach is public and somewhat untidy, and the water does not invite you in.

The food here was sensational in comparison to other hotels. The standard pool villa was nice but very dated and overpriced for what you get.

As soon as we arrived, we were informed that the half boars didn’t include my 7 year old daughter and we had to pay extra for that. We showed them our booking which stated she was included when we made the booking and the problem was then sorted but left a very bad taste in our mouths from the first 5 minutes of our arrival. The rooms are old so just to set expectations as we found it slightly underwhelming for what we paid.

It speaks luxury. It felt like a little village where we can go around. I did not feel the need to leave the place
