Karpaha Sands was the perfect conclusion to our Sri Lanka holiday and a wonderful example of how a boutique resort should be operated. The property itself is beautiful. The beach is pristine, the setting is peaceful, the rooms are exceptionally comfortable and the entire resort is maintained to a very high standard. What impressed us most was the cleanliness, attention to detail and the relaxed atmosphere that exists throughout the property. Unlike many larger resorts, Karpaha Sands has managed to create a genuine sense of tranquillity and exclusivity without feeling pretentious or overly formal. The overall vibe is relaxed, welcoming and authentic. A special mention must go to the Hotel Manager, Umbretto, whose presence, professionalism and genuine interest in guest satisfaction were evident throughout our stay. His leadership clearly reflects in the culture of the resort. We would also like to thank our butler, Nifras, for his friendliness, attentiveness and willingness to assist with every request. Nothing was ever too much trouble and his warm personality made our stay even more enjoyable. What stood out most was the attitude of the entire team. The staff appeared happy, engaged and genuinely committed to ensuring guests have a memorable experience. This is something that cannot be taught through procedures alone and speaks volumes about how the resort is managed. Karpaha Sands proves that exceptional hospitality is not about the size of the property but about the people behind it. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return in the future.

Super hotel! les employés sont vraiment très sympas, la plage est magnifique et les installations sont incroyables. Un grand merci à Umberto le GM qui gère son hôtel D'une façon incroyable et très professionnelle. On a passé un très bon moment grâce à lui.

Divine hotel situated on a beautiful stretch of beach. The food from the hotel was amazing, the breakfast menu was huge and the best we have had in Sri Lanka. We stayed in a garden villa which was very private. Loved the pool, the staff, watching the fishermen pull in their nets off the beach and the sunrises. This is an amazing hotel experience.
