Lodge in need of serious repairs and a thorough deep clean,, thickdust around, sauna didn't work and apparently hasn't for a few years( booked partly for this) ,curtains were very s sunbleached and didn't really close . One corner was completely rotten and black

The location was lovely, and easy to visit other main sites. The hot tub was amazing, and the peacefulness was great. Loved waking up to seeing the animals and watching the sunsets.

Well there was alot of mould around the windows and bathroom, as well as the curtains. I understand its a hot dry box when not used but I did have to buy some cleaner, to freshen it up.

The hot tub was the highlight,the bed was comfortable,,generally clean ,nice views extremely quiet .

Upon arrival it felt like a ghost town ,no greeting and very little interest in our comfort or safety ,there was no milk ,sugar or tea ,not even a biscuit ,no soaps or shampoos ,but as I said it was clean and comfortable, and the hot yub made up for everything else .

The location was perfect, if you wanted a quiet retreat away from the hustle of daily life. It was very chilled. Lovely countryside views. The property is pretty central to lots of super places to visit, including Porthmadog, with it's steam trains.

Cleanliness could be improved outside the entrance to the pods as this will transfer inside, or to the jacuzzi. There was a internal damp issue that needs addressing in the shower room.

The lodge would have been loverly, if it was cleaner and the windows opened we could get any fresh air in ,and did think that it was a fire hazard
