Beech Hedge

Lovely peaceful location, ideal for relaxing and enjoying nature. Our cabin took a bit of time to heat up specially durring night and could use a deeper clean — some dust on vents and a spider web at the entrance. No Wi-Fi in our room, but that was fine as we wanted a quiet digital-free break. Still a nice place to unwind overall.

I liked the location, and it was a good base to explore other parts of Scotland.

It could have done with a hairdryer and a pair scissors and a chopping board. Also there wasn't any bedding for the two single beds.

Great affordable accommodation as a base for exploring Perth and the surrounding area. We will definitely book again.

There was no Hoover which was a bit frustrating with a messy toddler holidaying with us. No hot water for doing dishes so had to boil kettle.

Very cosy little caravan with everything needed.

The stress of the booking and being woken at 6.20am every morning with the caravan next door putting their TV on very very loud. The booking is managed by hoseasons. I was sent a message’ thank you for booking, enclosed is your check in information and details of key collection/ code if applicable etc etc etc…..it then proceeded with other things, yet no mention of the check in details and key code/collection. I replied( this is a week prior to stay, saying no details have been given, could they clarify please. No reply. During the week I messaged 3 times asking for the details, as I knew I’d be arriving in the evening after doing mountain climbing in the west highlands. No reply or acknowledgement. Only info I could find said check in at 4pm. I messaged night before saying I need the info for check I as I’m arriving late. Nothing! I had to presume the key would be in caravan and it would be the caravan shown in picture and easy to find as a small park. I was worried I’d be stranded with no way of getting in if reception was shut and key not in caravan. I even considered not risking the drive, and booking somewhere else for that night, but I’d paid for this place and it was appalling that I had no replies from all the messages I sent. I finished my hiking, was soaked through, and left Arrochar in the west for a 2 hr drive. I stopped to buy shopping on the way and it was late when I got to park. It was also dark. I could see reception was in darkness so drove around. I knew this was going to happen! Just typical. This was the very thing I wanted to avoid which was why I sent messages. There were a couple caravans empty, so I tried them. No luck. I was tired and cold. Caravan park was dark and I’m walking around wet, cold and hungry, trying to find which one is unlocked. No one around. Really annoyed, I called the emergency number for hoseasons. They told me it was caravan 14. I then went and tried it. It’s locked.
