Villa Maya

We took the big Top Floor King bed Suite with a nice view and Terrace. The Breakfast was tasty and their Infinity-Pool was very relaxing. The staff are okay but we are very satisfied with their facility Manger Mr. Jorjie R. who really matters for the guests.

The Service was a little slow and unmotivated this time and the new crew needs maybe some more Training. Because of the fluctuations (not their fault) of the electric-Power all the time, the Fans and the AC was not able to cool the big room on the 3rd floor properly. So sleeping was not a pleasure at this time because it was just to hot and humid. The Management (via Front desk) not really cares even we ask them many times for a solution or changing of rooms. This was just a bad experience for us.

Everything! The location is excellent. Close enough to the main street, shops and Cloud 9, and far enough from the noise. A quiet place with a crazy view and good air. Amazing pool, really really delicious food, clean, very comfortable, huge balcony, spacious room, kind and helpful staff, very nice owners, child-friendly. Best place we've been to.

From time to time short power outages, they know and take care of it. Too bad we couldn't stay longer. 

Stayed in a huge room stepping onto the pool. stunning views overlooking small but perfectly manicured golf course. and on to the sea. would recommend renting a scooter as it’s a bit of a way to beach and action. Do Dong at reception helped with this (400p per day and bike was fine) Special thanks to George for his help with ideas of places to visit on the island.. .. he also has a wicked swing and an hour round the course with him introduced my partner to the game and reignited my frustration in playing it. Wilbert our caddy deserves a mention here too . very nice man. would recommend if budget suits

These are more suggestions than complaints and would take little effort and minimal cost. firstly the welcome at reception lacked any warmth or charm and that remained consistent throughout our stay.. some customer service training here would help .. salvaged by George who was great how about some complimentary tea and coffee in the room for us early risers? you’ve already invested in a kettle!! our room wasn’t refreshed during our stay. I didn’t ask as I would expect this to be done without having to. This is just not acceptable for a classy resort despite seeming to be the norm in the Philippines

The pool and the room per se were nice.

The service was really bad, they took ages to get anything done and the staff had a lot of communication problems due to a lack of English skills. The AC was failing all the time. The food was ok, but the prices were way too high for the size of the portions All in all not worth the money.

The staff are simply lovely and King Gorge say no more.. Allan and Family are most welcoming Golf course would be fun with a few friends and drinks it's not supposed to be Augusta it tests your short game Massive room great beds warm shower The resort is a short tricycle ride to the action of GL so it's nice and peaceful all day It was up to us with the room being serviced someday we would ask for towels other days made up completely Brilliant American Breakfast kick-start the day If you have never experienced the Filipino lifestyle before do it and stay here it's wonderful don't stress about little things life is too short

I have been in the Accommodation industry for over 25 years now myself so I like to be honest and anything I say is constructive criticism and not harmful to the resort Yes A/C was unusual the power is slow running so it kicks in and out I don't know the solution but the owners are on to it but really did it effect us? No!! Wi Fi well anywhere in the world can be up and down so I use data and then I still had problems haha Wardrobe? I use chairs Clothes rack? I use balcony Biggest negative LEAVING
