Like the location and food

My stay at Bay Agonda was extremely disappointing due to a severe red ant infestation in the riverside rooms. In all my travels, I have never encountered such a high level of red ants inside a resort property. The management changed our room three times, yet the ant problem persisted in every room provided. Despite sharing clear photo and video evidence, the Operations Head, Ms. Naaz, was dismissive of our concerns and repeatedly reminded us that we had been given a complimentary 5-hour early check-in. However, this does not compensate for the inconvenience and discomfort caused by the infestation. Moreover, considering it was the off-season and many rooms were vacant, the early check-in appeared to be a standard operational convenience rather than a special gesture. What was even more frustrating was being told that we were the only guests facing this issue, despite the obvious evidence and repeated room changes. Instead of acknowledging the problem and offering a fair resolution, the property continued to deny responsibility. Ultimately, we were forced to cut short our stay and cancel the remaining booking. To make matters worse, we were charged a 50% cancellation fee for a problem that was entirely the property’s responsibility. A hospitality business should prioritize guest comfort and handle genuine complaints professionally. Unfortunately, Bay Agonda failed on both counts. I cannot recommend this property until the infestation issue is properly addressed and guest concerns are treated with greater respect and accountability.

The location was great

The lack of network and difficulty in accessing housekeeping was a challenge.

The resort was well-maintained and was absolutely charming. The room and the bathroom were massive in size. The bathroom was exceptionally beautiful.

The food. Tree top tawa is the best. The ambience and safety/security is very good. Very romantic.

Food is amazingly good.

Rooms and location are bad
