Property Notes

When booking full board, please note that drinks are not included. Tawali Resort is accessible via a boat from Alotau. Guests must fly from Port Moresby to Alotau Airport, then transfer on a 90-minute bus ride along the Milne Bay coast followed by a 20-minute boat ride to the resort.The trip between Alotau Airport and Tawali Resort takes approximately 2 hours. Transfers are available to and from Alotau Airport. These are charged PGK 220 + GST per guest, return. Please inform the property in advance if you want to use this service, using the contact details found on the booking confirmation. Please note that the extra bed rate is AUD 45 per person for room only and AUD 120 per person for full board. Please note that divers must secure their PADI certificate or any diving certifications and diving insurance before arrival to Tawali Resort. The property requires a copy of these documents for each diver.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. A deposit may be required at the property.

It was so secluded and beautifully made. The dinner was exceptional. They were very helpful.

I didn't realize it was almost 2 hours from Alotau. Way to far to go without staying a few days.

"Tawali a great place for families to have that much needed "Family Time"."

We went to Tawali to have some family time with our young children and it was worth it. Away from the city and we were able to enjoy swimming in the sea, kayaking and just having the kids really enjoy themselves.

"Idyllic PNG coastal setting for a superb relaxing holiday."

Tawali is a fantastic resort for divers, snorkeling and travellers who just want to relax in a beautiful setting. The staff are amazing and the buffet style dinner experiences were 5 star: freshly caught seafood cooked to perfection. October, November, December is the best time for divers, but I recommend Tawali for a holiday any time. Will definitely come back.

The breakfasts are a bit expensive if you’re not a big eater.
