The Dream Homestay

The host was fantastic, very attentive and always wanting to provide. There were lots of additional things in the room such as tissues, ear buds and a hairdryer. The location was superb, so close to the centre but just tucked away enough that it was very peaceful. You may not have the wonderful mountain views here, but in front of the rooms are lots of trees, plants and flowers and this made a lovely atmosphere; it was perfect for bird and squirrel watching!

A great location, comfortable rooms with a fan, the host was amazing, serving an amazing spread for breakfast. She was very helpful and friendly and did our laundry. She had umbrellas available if it rained and a nice area to sit out in the morning/evening time.

We loved our stay here at Dream resort. We loved the fact that the guesthouse was so close to town but not too close so that you get to have some downtime.. it’s only 4 minute walk so it’s a blessing. The room was super clean and private… Our hostess Pradeepa was super nice. Always attentive and caring… and I haven’t even mentioned the breakfast. My word.. this was hands down one of, if not the best breakfast in Sri Lanka.. loved the coconut pancakes and the Dahl.. Highly recommend!!

The room was very nice and clean, big bathroom and a lot of space in general. We had a lovely terass where we got our breakfast. Sometime we could see some monkeys in the trees. The location is very nice because it is just 5 min walk to the busy main street and therfore very calm. Don't trust google because it is sending you to the wrong street. We asked for laundry service which was no problem and we only paid 700 rupies for it in addition.

Great location and very friendly owner. She makes great breakfast. The room is good size, but it is very moist. You feel very sticky all the time. The bathroom is uncomfortable - very low water pressure, not possible to wash yourself.

Great location, we were able to walk to Nine Arches Bridge, Little Adam’s Peak and all the restaurants, bars and shops of Ella. The host is really friendly and cooked as a fantastic breakfast each morning, she was very accommodating to our vegan diet! The room was comfortable and really well equipped, with a kettle fridge, hairdryer, plus little bits like first aid kit, toothpaste etc.

It was absolutely a pleasure to stay at The Dream Resort villa! It's an absolutely new villa with only 2 or 3 rooms available, located in a hidden place, but with google maps easy to find, close to the main street, but far enough to have a quiet nights, close to the little Adams peak road and Nine Arches bridge road. It looks exactly like on the pictures, even better! There are toiletries, hot water, hair dryer, kettles, fan (it's was quite cold in town, I used it only to dry my clothes), duvet 😍, mosquito repellent, fridge, an umbrella (very thoughtful!). Breakfast was on the top level, delicious and the host cooked a lot, so I felt full all day long! The lady host made my stay very enjoyable!
