The Dream Homestay

Cute little Homestay with two rooms, 5min walking distance to the main road in Ella. I spent wonderful 6 nights there. The bed is very comfortable and there is a nice little seating area in front of the room. The shower even has some hot water!!! The owner is very helpful and amazingly nice. I had both breakfast and dinner there and it was delicious.

The room can get a bit humid with the heavy rains in Ella.

Everything was clean. The location was local. The owners were very helpful. The food was amazing. It was great value for money.

Steep walk up to the guest house, may not be suitable for people with mobility issues, although they did provide a tuk tuk for our luggage.

Very big breakfast, kind host that does what she can to make your stay as good as possible. The room was clean and had all the basic amenities.

Due to the rainy weather, we were happy to book the "Deluxe Apartment" so we had some space to stay in. The apartment is just a room, larger than the other room they rent out, but it was certainly misleading to name it an apartment and include a large surface area in the profile description, when it was just a regular room.

Pleasant accommodation with an even more pleasant owner. There is beautiful nature and relative peace. The room was clean and cozy. The owner makes delicious and big breakfasts and will do anything you ask for. When we got wet, she also lent me clothes, which was very helpful for me. However, there is high humidity and frequent rain in this area. So the clothes here take quite a long time to dry and the room is quite humid. During continuous rain, the room drips from the ceiling, which can be survived. What is important is a comfortable bed, a good breakfast, a helpful owner and hot water, even with low water pressure. Just watch out for the 2 dogs that are in the house below this accommodation. On the way to the accommodation, they ran at us and we were quite afraid that they would bite us.

We loved our stay! We extended for two more nights. The family that was hosting us was so kind and lovely. Best breakfast I have had on the entire trip. Clean, spacious bedroom and bathroom with a nice little terrace. Just a short walk to the Main Street. Would definitely recommend staying here!

We stayed 2 nights and had dinner here twice. Top hospitality by the very gentle host, always available to help us. Will come back again.

The room and surroundings are good. Hosts are kind people. Room has a few nice additions like umbrella or own router.

The room seemed to be moldy. It was painted recently but I'm pretty sure they just painted it over mold. There was a little water running over walls and dripping from one of chandeliers. Not a biggie for our one night stay, but worth noticing during rain season.
