You can not beat the view. The whole retreat felt like one big meditation session. The staff was great. The main host had an incredibly calming aura that matched the serenity of the location. I have high anxiety and that retreat was the least anxious I have been in years. The owner was great too. He gave me a free trip to the airport and was a great conversationalist. This would be a great place to write a book.

Pretty much everything I didn't like had to do with the fact that I was there in the low season and it was a bit colder than I expected.The only negative I can think of is the water pressure on the bum gun was too low and the main light flickered a bit.

it’s a stunning property. Its beauty is a secret or it would be over run and booked out for weeks. it’s a little inconvienent from town but I think the beauty is worth it.

The location, the scenery, the staff, everything was WOW! The kajak- and ebike trip als exceeded our expectations, we stayed an extra night.

This was my favorite stay in Laos, and maybe the best in Southeast Asia. Location is a bit far from town (about 30 mins), but that’s exactly what I wanted. The property and architecture is GORGEOUS. The views - breathtaking. I really hope I can stay here in the future. The property was just a few years ago before Covid so it’s still pretty new. Also the food is fantastic and affordable, between $2-5 for one meal per person.

The two big downsides: there were many bugs in the room (but this is expected because it’s in the forest), and because location is far from city, it’s hard to get to and costs about $20 one way. But it’s WELL worth the trip! Thank you Fa and Marcus for a wonderful stay :)

The place is incredible! It is located in front of the river, surrounded by nature. The fernitures and decoration are gorgeous, with details in every corner. The views from each place (rooms, pool, restaurant, decks, etc) are perfect. It is a place to spend a couple of days relaxing.
