Crown Lake Resort

Was pleasantly surprised, nice like having a place like an apartment !

Faucets at all sinks and shower could be upgraded, higher elongated toilets would be nice!

I love this resort! Once you get groceries you do not have to leave for entertainment everything is right there on the resort. They held activities in the evening time as well like a magic show, bonfire & s’mores, bingo.

Didnt have any breakfast. The pool hours need to be extended to 9pm or 10pm.

It was very clean and functional. We even had a washing machine and dryer in the cabin. Very spacious. Lots of wild life and beautiful property! The Sandy beach and lake were peaceful. Most of the staff were super friendly and helpful.

There wasn’t a television in the bedroom! We didn’t have WiFi the first night and there was no one available to fix it. Everything shuts down super early and many of the “amenities” cost extra. Closest town with gas stations and restaurants is 12 miles away!

The staff was friendly and helpful. The resort was close to several shopping places so didn't have to drive the extra 20 mins to get some essentials. Having a restaurant on the premises was a bonus. They had docks on the property so you could pull your boat/jet skis up to instead of going back to the marina.

Ants....... I had to tell Mary at the desk that our cabin had ants on Friday night. They were on the counter, stove, sink, and some by the front door. She said the exterminator had been on the property at some time that week but probably skipped our cabin since there were so many to do. I was thinking since she took my phone number that I would get a call to tell me that they went in cabin to spray a can of Ortho Home Defense to get rid of them. I never did hear from them. When I woke up Sunday morning, the ants were worse. They were in groupings on the floor. They were even in the bathroom Sunday morning. I told a different lady at checkout about it again. Some of my visiting family went to the indoor pool and whirlpool. They mentioned that it wasn't really cleaned that well.

The staff is very friendly and the area is gorgeous! To be a small rural area, this place has something special. I don't know what I was expecting honestly, but this place is breathtaking. If you're wanting rest and relaxation, with breathtaking views and friendly conversations, this is the place to go!

The bed seemed a tad small for a queen but I could have been mistaken on the size too.

I loved everything about Crown Lake Resort! It was an absolute blast! While we were there, we were under a tornado WARNING. Right away, the staff had the door unlocked to the Club House so we could go to the basement. The storm lasted from 4:30-6:30, by 7:00 staff was working cleaning up damage that the winds caused. It goes to show how much time they put into this place. It is by far my favorite vacation place. We will be going back soon!
