Too many boats and smelly tractors with diesel fumes coming into facilities.

Stayed here for one night while walking the Queen Charlotte. Great value for money. Our apartment had a beautiful view of the surrounding bay. It was spacious and while the furnishings were a bit dated, clean and comfortable. Compared to the other resorts we stayed at on the track, this one had a much more personable feel to it. Basic meals for sale at the food truck.

It is one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed- and we are global travellers. We loved everything about it and that despite two solid days of rain. The setting is staggering, and the accommodation defies description. Big apartments, a whole building full of character. Charming hosts, enthusiastic young staff, excellent food (delivered to your apartment if necessary). And all at a very reasonable price. We will fly around the world again, just to stay here.

Do not expect WiFi in your room. Part of the charm for us but others may need it.

Es ist einfach nur traumhaft, sobald man hier ankommt. Wir hatten nicht so viel Glück mit dem Wetter und trotzdem kann man die tolle Aussicht genießen, zumal unsere Terrasse überdacht war und wir fast durchgehend draußen sitzen konnten. Alle Mitarbeiter:innen bzw. natürlich auch die Betreiber sind unglaublich freundlich. Ein Highlight war das Kajak fahren in der Bucht.

Die Anlage und die Zimmer sind sehr gepflegt, doch einiges ist auch schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Der Fernseher hat nur einen Sender. Das Internet ist nicht so stabil, aber es geht ja vor allem darum, die Natur zu genießen. Für die Lage des Resorts ist es insgesamt schon ein top Preis-Leistungs Verhältnis.

Such a beautiful, tranquil location. Lovely hosts and the rooms were great value for money and very very clean.

A unique and fantastic location in Marlborough Sound on the water. Great team running the place, very freindly and helping with any question you have. Selling some basic food and toiletries and a couple running a food truck preparing lunches and dinner. A unique and memorable experience.

Road tpo the location was not in the best condition.

De locatie en de sfeer zijn uitstekend. 2 belangrijkste activiteiten zijn wandelen en iets op wat water doen (zoals kayakken). Eten op het resort is oke. Keuken is goed uitgerust. Geweldig uitzicht en heerlijke rust.

Het gehele appartement is wat ouderwets. Weliswaar hygiënisch, maar alles voelt wat ouder aan. Bedden zijn minder comfortabel (springveermatras) en het tweepersoonsbed is smal.
