CAAmazing welcoming staff on the island. Remote location very appreciated to free up your mind. Food is good overall. The main habitation is very nice. Wifi with Starlink on the property. Swimming and chilling.
The facility needs some love after the huricane hits it. Simple things like cleaning the long chairs and the outdoor matresses, fixing the broken ones, hidding the construction materials from the customers should be done. The wifi does not reach the upperclass house which would be easely fixed with a repeater. This is a real impediment when you stay in. it s good when you stay in the bungalows. Part of the staff looks lazy, chilling in the hamoc like customers would do, instead of doing small tasks to improve the property: cleaning, painting, restock supplies, ...

PTEverything exceeded our expectations. We loved the island, the facilities and the staff; everyone was incredibly kind to us and made us feel truly pampered. The food at the hotel is excellent and well worth the price. The prices are very reasonable, even though they could easily charge more, as dining at the hotel is essentially the only option, which we appreciated. I would highly recommend staying for more than one night, as they offer several add-ons such as snorkelling, kayaking and even a tour to watch the plankton. We were sad to leave but will definitely return for a longer stay so we can enjoy the small island even more. We were also lucky enough to have the island almost entirely to ourselves. After around 3–4 pm, the day tours return to Cartagena and you’re left with only the other hotel guests. Everything is organised in such a way that it often feels as though you have the island to yourselves. I wouldn’t recommend staying there if you’re looking for luxurious or fancy facilities, as the bungalows have a rustic style and there is no air conditioning. However, for us it made perfect sense, as it really enhances the island experience. We stayed in an ocean-view room with a terrace and were able to fall asleep to the sound of the sea right beside our bed an absolutely unforgettable experience.
The only slightly inconvenient moment was at check-out. When we had to pay for all the food and drinks we had consumed, the process was a bit complicated because they were apparently implementing a new system. They weren’t able to provide a single complete receipt of all our orders and instead gave us separate tickets for each order from the different days. However, I’m sure that once they become more familiar with the system, the process will be smoother and faster.
