Gorgeous surrounds, proximity to Barton under Needwood, spacious accommodation

Rooms a bit tired, no prior indication in main building, mismatch with pictures, staff’s approach. I got the impression they had been trained to put efficiency well ahead of friendliness.

Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff - I was solo travelling with an 18 month old, I was struggling to get the provided travel cot up so messaged the text concierge and two members of the team arrived promptly to put the cot up! Honestly so helpful when you've only got one pair of hands and a toddler to juggle. Other staff we saw throughout the grounds were also chatty and smiley. The pool was really lovely and there was a small play area. The views were fantastic. Plenty of parking near accommodation. Full kitchen, including dishwasher and washing machine and washing tablets and laundry detergent was provided. Would love to stay again.

The apartment I stayed in could do with a little updating - nothing major just, for example, there were old reading lights on the wall that no longer worked, a lamp was in situ on the bedside table, but the old lamps were still there.

I had an exceptional stay at Wychnor Park Country Club. The property is beautifully maintained, with immaculate grounds and outstanding facilities throughout. The accommodation was extremely comfortable, and the bed provided one of the best nights' sleep I've had in a long time. The staff were warm, friendly, and always willing to help, making the experience even more enjoyable. Communication before and during my stay was excellent, and the level of customer service was truly impeccable. Overall, I couldn't fault any aspect of my visit and would highly recommend Wychnor Park Country Club to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-managed getaway. I look forward to staying again in the future. 10/10.
