The location The approach to the property is a nightmare for self drive. The route suggested by google map was not suitable for self navigation. They could have mentioned the route to be taken This property may be ideal for people who love an adventurous travel and a stay in forest like atmosphere, but for people going with small kids it is advisable as it is almost isolated with no facilities available nearby. The morning cofee and tea can be provided when we request not at 8 am

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Violet Woods in Munnar, and it was a truly delightful experience. The resort offered an excellent combination of comfort, hospitality, and natural beauty. The food was absolutely excellent, with a variety of delicious options that were both flavorful and fresh. Every meal felt thoughtfully prepared and added to the overall comfort of the stay. The service was outstanding—the staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. Their warm hospitality made the experience even more special. As for the amenities, they were top-notch. From the cozy rooms to the scenic surroundings, everything was well-maintained and thoughtfully designed for a relaxing getaway. Overall, Violet Woods is a perfect spot for anyone looking to unwind in the serene beauty of Munnar, with great food, excellent service, and superb amenities. Highly recommended.

Calm in the middle of the woods.

The hotel manager has a restless and tense manner. He certainly wants the best, but we have experienced several rather unpleasant situations. Furthermore, be advised that you are quite far from Munnar, so if you travel without your own car, as we do, it can be very difficult to move around.

The resort is located in between the jungle. There's a clear view of the hills. The host and the staffs were very friendly and co-operative. Please do not miss their breakfast and dinner. The meals are freshly cooked and is so fulfilling. Shout to the amazing playlist played by the staffs. The bonfire is also worth it during the chilling nights. Rooms: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Location: 5/5 Rooms The rooms are quite spacious and the view is worth watching Nearby activities We have visited the chocolate factory, kasavu aalayam, echo point, tea garden, few view spots, spice garden and performed zip lining. Safety It is quite safe even though the surrounding is dark at night & it is situated on top so have to go through quite curvy roads Walkability You can go for basic walk and small trek Food and drinks The food prepared for breakfast and dinner is top notch and very fresh.
