Nirbana Palace - A Heritage Hotel and Spa

The hotel was clean

The bed wasn’t very long , the room was a bit small .

The structure was unique

The building itself is absolutely beautiful and the food is very tasty

The rooms are quite small for two people, the walls are paper thin so you can hear everything that happens in the building they play drums and have a puppet shows for hours in the main hall everyday, but mostly the staff is unhelpful even to book a taxi. They are very rude they say 'of course we can help' and then do nothing. The services written in the 'house rules' are not the truth.

This historic fort palace was beautifully restored. Loved exploring the gorgeous grounds and interesting passageways and rooms!

There were not enough staff at the on grounds restaurant and the staff that were there seemed uninformed about basic things such as menu and opening hours. We had to wait about an hour for any staff to appear even though the front desk told us the restaurant was open at that time. The restaurant was deserted when we arrived and we had to seek out staff and keep reminding staff we were there and were waiting to be seated and order food. This caused a delay in our pressed for time itinerary and we missed out on planned activities. There were not enough navigational signage placed around the grounds. Very easy to get lost in the passageways and stairwells. Staff, when asked for directions, were not able to provide clear instructions. Reception should offer each guest a 10-15 minute walking tour of the grounds to show basic areas such as pools, gym, dining rooms, etc. Additionally, we would have appreciated more information on the history of Nirbana fort palace. The hotel is relatively expensive and we should not have had to experience these issues mentioned above.
