Bentrina Diving Resort

Our 2nd time in Bentrina. We like this place because unlike most resorts in the area, Bentrina has only 6 rooms and lots of open space. It is not cramped. They dont do loud music or karaoke. You can hear the birds, the sea and the wind. Really a very good place to unwind from the busy and noisy city life. There are 9 lovely people that runs the resort. They are always quick to response to our needs, always smiling, polite and friendly. My husband said its like a family run resort. Food here is always freshly cooked, which, my husband and I greatly enjoyed. Maybe can add some local dishes on the menu? To all the staff, we very much appreciate you. Thank you.

Cannot find anything to dislike.

Everything. This is our second time in Bentrina and we brought our son & his wife for a long weekend. They too loved it here. The homey feel, quiteness, no loud music and karaoke... You only hear the geckos in the morning which is nice, the children playing, which is much better noise than music, the birds chirping and the motor boats (sometimes loud). We love the simple, freshly cooked food here. And of course the staff. They are like one big family. Lovely people.

I cant think of any. Oh hammocks would be nice :)

Great service. Wonderful views. Good strong Wi-Fi. Cold AirCon. Comfortable bed. Smart TV had Netflix and YouTube and Prime available. Great inexpensive laundry service. Homecooked Filipino food. We were there to vacation and relax so I can't comment on the scuba diving. Very cozy private resort.

Roosters next door crowing at 3am. (kitchen should catch him and cook Adobo rooster)

The staff felt like family

Everything! Im rating Bentrina 5 star. Its trully a home away from home. My husband and I liked the quiteness and serenity of the place. There's no loud music or karaoke. We love the food. Close to home cooked meals, basic and simple yet very good. We appreciate the hot water, coffee and tea laid out at the restaurant 24/7. We like the staff very much. They are like one big family running the resort. Everyone seem to be an all rounder, can do any job necessary. These great people make us feel at home from day 1. They were quick to resolve any issues. We really felt at home that is why we rebooked already and going back soon.

Nothing. We liked everything. But for suggestion, maybe some fruits? And maybe need some new mask and snorkle. And hammocks?

I most appreciated the service and consideration from the owner. She could have nickel and dimed us, but she gave us discounts we didn't even ask for, which I really appreciated and showed they value their guests. That small.gesture went a long way for my wife and me. They also accommodated my request to have a doze white roses at the room when we arrived, and they were lovely.

They say there is a BBQ and we brought food to grill because of that, but I think there is something lost in translation between what an American thinks as a BBQ (a stand alone propane grill available with utensils for guests to use) and what a filipino thinks as a BBQ (a small grill which you have to buy charcoal for and is a hike away from the resort and up hill). So, for those Americans... they don't have a BBQ.

The staff are very accommodating and helpful to all our needs. The place is really quiet and relaxing it is really good for bigger families like ours. I would like to commend the good services of the staffs during our stay Ate Darlene, May Rose and Michael.
