Bentrina Diving Resort

the room it was okay and comfortable,if you love diving you must visit bentrina cheap room via booking and the food simple but good.very relaxing also if you just want to relax.

Beachfront

Weak water pressure. Water smell iron. A bit expensive with those facility levels.

I liked my room a lot, it is spacious and comfortable. The resort staff are all very friendly, welcoming and made sure that I am comfortable throughout my stay.

I only have a comment about the DM I was with during the dive. He was asking too many personal questions and was not aware of social norms / rules. I think the manager should coach the dive staff to be professional and respect boundaries. Edit: I'm adding more context because it's important that the resort knows the full detail to ensure the safety of their solo female guests. The DM asked me why I was traveling alone even though I didn't volunteer this information to them. He also went to knock at my door to give the underwater photos when he could have just asked the female staff to call me. It was uncomfortable. I was really planning to come back here because the accommodation is really nice and the hotel staff are respectful. But I won't anymore. Moving forward I am thinking of just booking my dive trips with a separate dive center so the guides won't know the details of my stay and for my own safety. Note to solo female travellers / divers, be mindful as politeness / being nice is often misinterpreted by local men especially in rural areas here in PH. Always treat them business-like and you are not obliged to answer intruding or very personal questions.

Staff are friendly and pleasant. Food was great! We were given a garden salad for free thanks to the manager. Kayak was fun too and the price is very much affordable

Bathroom was clean which we appreciated. However, toilet bowl and sink appear quite old, and updating these fixtures would significantly improve the overall bathroom experience.

Sauber und gemütlich

We spent six nights here over New Year and enjoyed a relaxing stay. The diving is good, and the bangka leaves from directly in front of the hotel. There is a hiking trail/road (steep!) that starts from close to the hotel up the nearby Gulugod Baboy mountain. The staff are friendly and on-hand to arrange tricycles etc, and the food is tasty and comes in generous/huge portions.

No real complaints. Payment at the end was a minor kerfuffle, but not one that was entirely the hotel's fault.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Helped to organise transfers to and from the airport. Food was all fresh and delicious. Very flexible with diving plans. Rooms basic but clean and comfortable
