HK Resort

It’s in very calm place, near the main road to Seoraksan park. The room is basic, but for one night it was ok. The hotel was so empty, we didn’t meet any people there, we were lucky we meet receptionist once and he gave us the keys, we didn’t saw anybody there.

We were 3 people, the bed could be bigger for 2 people. Also, we weren’t expected to have a futon bed on the ground for 3rd person.

The location is perfect for exploring the national park.

There is an annoying smell coming out from the bathroom.

I recently stayed at the HK Resort in Sokcho, which is conveniently located near the entrance to the Seoraksan National Park. The room was equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay: a full kitchen (gas stove, refrigerator, sink, and dishes), and a good bed in the bedroom. Everything was very clean. There is a convenience store and a bus stop nearby.

Old design and the area around the hotel is not very nice.

Staff very helpful and friendly, well situated to the entrance of Seoraksan national park, nice sized room with all the facilities you need. Plus a nice clean bathroom for the end of the day after a long hike.

All good. Excellent value for money.
