Terrace Garden Ayurveda Resort

Beautiful accommodation surrounded by nature, perfect for guests who are looking for peace and relaxation away from the busy center of Weligama. The property is very well designed, the environment is calm and green, and the swimming pool area is truly lovely. It feels like a small peaceful retreat. However, there was one major issue during our stay. Every evening we had problems with hot water — in fact, there was no hot water at all most of the time. After a long day outside or at the beach, this became a significant inconvenience and was quite disappointing considering the overall standard of the property. If this issue is resolved, the place has great potential to offer an excellent stay, as the location and atmosphere are really beautiful.

Problems with hot water

Hotel is located a bit outside of everything, but it was exactly what we were looking for. Great people are working there and we enjoyed our stay too much. Also it is very quiet and relaxing place, totally recommended!

Would be great to have a bit more variety of breakfast options.

Er komen veel mensen voor alternatieve geneeskunde, vanuit die hoek? Je merkt uit gastvrijheid dat eigenaars uit EU komen en niet Sri 1000 roepies per taxi rit via hotel terwijl pick me 400 roepies is (lukt enkel van dorp naar hun)

Sehr schöne Anlage - hier findet man die absolute Ruhe. Das Zimmer war sehr schön und sauber. Es gibt Trinkwasser und man kann verschiedene Ayuverda Behandlungen buchen.

Die Location ist wirklich etwas abseits. Ohne eigenen Transport ist es schwierig irgendwohin zu kommen. Pickme funktionierte hier nicht. Das Bett war sehr laut bei jeglicher Bewegung und leider nicht so bequem.

We hadden graag wat meer uitleg gezien over het principe van dit ayurverdische resort, het was nu voor ons vrij onduidelijk. Ook had er wat meer variatie in het ontbijt kunnen zijn. Dit was nu elke keer een omelet. Sri Lankaanse ontbijtjes waren ook lekker geweest.

The villa is very clean and nicely decorated, mixing modern comfort with local style. The rooms are big and comfortable, and the amenities were more than I expected. I loved spending time by the private pool and in the lovely garden. The best part was the staff. They were very friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with anything I needed. Their local tips made my trip even better. The food was also a highlight – delicious and authentic Sri Lankan dishes that I really enjoyed. Every meal was fantastic, and the chef is very talented. Overall, this villa gave me an unforgettable experience. I felt like I was in paradise and didn’t want to leave. If you are looking for a great place to stay in Sri Lanka, this is it. Highly recommended! ]

Beautiful hideaway from bustling Weligama. Staff was amazing, very helpful and friendly. Rooms were super clean and comfy. Pool was cristal clear and refreshing!
